AN OVERVIEW OF MY COMIC CREATIVE PROCESS
Goals: To transform the original creator’s ideas into a comic book with visuals, design characters and props.

Pluto (Man): A stoic, skilled swordsman.
Early on Problems and Realizations
The team originally wanted to design
the comic book for a traditional user base.
The research found for traditional media vs webtoons:
Limited Reach: Distribution is often limited to regions where physical copies can be sold. It’s harder to reach a global audience.
Cost: Printing and distributing physical comics can be expensive. Additionally, getting published by a traditional publisher can be highly competitive. We did not have the budget for that.
Accessibility: Finding and purchasing physical comics may not be as convenient for all readers compared to digital formats.
Webtoons were more beneficial for our project,
Global Reach: Webtoons can be accessed by anyone with an internet connection, making it easier to reach a global audience.
Lower Costs: Publishing online is typically less expensive than printing physical copies. Many platforms allow creators to publish their work for free.
Ease of Access: Webtoons can be read on various devices (smartphones, tablets, computers), increasing their accessibility.
Result: Showing this research the team understood that our project’s scope should lean toward the webtoon comic model.

As of this moment, we are finalizing the release of this comic book and looking into Webtoons. We are also getting ready to promote the comic book using a variety of social media apps!
